Kishwar Sultana, Director & Researcher of the Institute participated and represented the Institute at yje Forum. She presented a research paper titled "Frame Building_ An Important Responsibility of Todays Media" at the Forum. The First International Forum on Media and Information Literacy (MIL) was organized by the Research Group on Mass Communication, Culture and Society; Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Sais-Fes; and Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, Fez, Morocco, on June 15-17, 2011, with the collaboration of UNESCO as lead Partner, ISESCO, the Arab Bureau of Education for the Golf States (ABEGS) and the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) as key partners. UNESCO launched the MIL curriculum in three languages: English, French and Arabic in this Forum. The Forum came out with the Fez Declaration on MIL and a Plan of Action to promote MIL and encourage international, regional and inter-regional cooperation to this effect. The Forum was participated by 50 representatives from 33 countries around the Globe.
