Fasting in Different Religions

The Goethe-Institut Bangladesh organized a panel discussion on Fasting in Different Religions to examine this important tradition in various religions. Mr. Marius Pietruschka from the Goethe Institut organized this discussion with support from the Institute of Hazrat Mohammad SAW. The panel consisted of Reverend Massimo Catterin, Deputy of Holy See Embassy, Barrister Rizwana Yusuf, Director Administration at the Insitute of Hazrat Mohammad SAW and Professor Sukomal Barua from the University of Dhaka. The panel reflected on the respective meaning and importance of fasting in their religions. The discussion was moderated by Mr. Tanveerul Haque.
