Essay competition for the visually impaired

On the occasion of the Holy and auspicious month of Rabi Ul Awal the Institute as part of its regular annual programs organized an essay competition on the topic ‘Universal message of Prophet Mohammad (SAW)’ for the visually impaired students of its English Language and computer skills training class and various other schools and colleges in Dhaka City. Mr. Golam Quader, Honorable Minister for Civil Aviation & Tourism, Govt of Bangladesh was the chief guest. Among the special guests were H.E. Mr. Ahmed AH Eliman, Ambassador, Embassy of the Great Socialist Peoples’ Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, H.E. Mr. Hassan Farazanhed, Ambassador, Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, H.E. Mr. U Phae Thann Oo, Ambassador, Embassy of the Union of Myanmar, H.E. Mr Van That Nugen, Ambassador, Embassy of Vietnam, Mr. Torsten Oertel, Director- Goethe Institut Dhaka, Mr. Neil Bentzen, Country Representative, save the Children Sweden, Brig (Retd) Abdul Malek, National Professor, secretary General National Heart Foundation Hospital & Research Institute, Mr. Mansur Ahmed Chowdhury, Managing Director, Jatiyo Protibondhi Unnayan foundation and Mr, Mostafa Zaman Abbasi, prominent and celebrity singer. The august gathering included eminent personalities from diplomatic missions, the government and various other disciplines.
