Tribute to founder Executive Director

Mr. Ahmad Shafi Maqsood (RA), was the founder and the Executive Director of the Institute of Hazrat Mohammad (SAW). He establised the Institute as a research organization with the aim to disseminate the teachings of Holy Quran and Sunnah of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (SAW). With profound passion, dedication and relentless effort he transformed the Institute from its humble beginning into a research think tank committed to global peace and human development. His exemplary personality and dynamism continues to be a beacon of guidance, inspiration and blessings in moving forward the endeavors of the Institute. His vision for the Institute is perhaps reflected in his own statement-

‘Today terror and tragedy have struck us and made us more aware of our vulnerability and our own mortality. We are living through a time of testing consequence. Our intellect is unequal to the task, faith must take over.’

He breathed his last on December 29, 2009. [Inna Lillahe Wa Inna Ilaihe Rajiun. - "Truly! To Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return"- Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 158].
