Description

To enhance the lives of the visually impaired through greater awareness on their legal rights, the Institute organized a seminar on ‘Legal rights of the Visually Impaired’. Barrister Aminul Haque, Minister for Post and Telecommunications attended the occasion as chief guest. Musharrof Hossain Khondokar, Advocate, Bangladesh Supreme Court, Norberto Ramos Basilio, Ambassador of the Philippines to Bangladesh, Masud Mannan, Director General, Ministry of Foreign Affairs were present as special guests. Ms. Mubina Asaf, Assistant Attorney General, Bangladesh Supreme Court, presented a concept paper on generating awareness on the legal Rights of the Visually Impaired.
