The Institute and the Embassy of the Republic of Italy organized a conference on ‘Religion, Globalization and Democracy’ to reiterate the role towards establishment of peace and harmony in an objective and non-political manner. Law, Justice and Parliament Affairs Minister Barrister Moudud Ahmed attended the conference as the Chief Guest. Akmal Gani, Ambassador of the Islamic state of Afghanistan, Dr. Kamal Hossain, Senior Advocate, Bangladesh Supreme court, Barrister Rokanuddin Mahmud, President, Bangladesh Bar Council, Anwar Hossain, Former Communication Minister, Faruq Sobhan, President Bangladesh Enterprise Institute, Louis Georges Arsenault, Representative, UNICEF, Prof Matiur Rahman, National Medical College, Dr. Anwar Hossain, Vice Chancellor, Darul Ihsan University were present as special guests.
