Description
The Institute organized a workshop titled ‘Islamic Philanthropy and Poverty Eradication: Proposal for Zakat-based Programs’. The workshop was organized in order to generate proposals for the effective utilization of Zakat funds. Former Chairman of BIDS and the Head of the Economics division of the Institute Dr. Monowar Hossain presented the key note paper.
