Notice of Business Idea Competition on occasion of Rabi ul Awwal 2016

TOPIC:   Innovative Start-Ups for the Visually Impaired.

WORD LIMITS:   Maximum 500 words.

LAST DATE FOR SUBMISSION:   25th of November 2016.


This program aims to showcase the talents of visually impaired persons in light of the teachings of Prophet Mohammad (SAW) on establishing businesses and promoting self-dependency. This is a competition for business ideas that will enable visually impaired persons to become entrepreneurs and start a business.  The idea will be assessed for

• Relevance: how the business idea can improve the life of a visually impaired person.

• Practicality: the idea can be implemented easily.  It is not very complicated.

• Novelty: the originality of the idea.

The best ideas will receive prizes and an opportunity to present in front of a panel of distinguished personalities.

Some examples of businesses suitable for Visually Impaired Persons are:

• IELTS training service

• IT Training

• Mobile recharge and mobile repairing centre
